Biltmore Marine Industries and Campion Marine's new fibreglass pontoon will be unveiled at the Kelowna Boat Show in BC this weekend.
Biltmore Marine Industries, in conjunction with Campion Marine, will be unveiling the world's first all fibreglass pontoon boat at the Kelowna Boat Show, April 27 to and 28 in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Biltmore Marine Industries partnered with Campion Marine, of Kelowna, BC, to build the Biltmore under license. “This is an exciting day for us,” states Campion's President, Brock Elliott. “We are filling a void for those looking for something beyond the traditional aluminum pontoon boat. We are launching the new benchmark for comfort and entertainment on the water with the sensuality of space, safety and handling dynamics never experienced before.”

The Biltmore Fibertoon is said to feature several patented innovations unique to a pontoon boat of this construction. “After three years in development, we are proud to introduce the Biltmore Fibertoon”, states Anthony Kalil, Biltmore's President and Designer. “The Biltmore marks a new niche in the boating industry, by being the first 100 percent composite pontoon boat ever offered. The benefits of this composite construction will be immediately realized in the dramatic styling and available features and options that will surpass those of traditional aluminum pontoon boats. We are very excited to have the Biltmore built by Campion. Their quality and attention to detail is unmatched.”

The Fibretoon's sculpted lines are accentuated by metallic gelcoat colour options. It features a fully enclosed step-down head with baby change station and storage, full wrap-around glass windshield, fibreglass deck with diamond non-skid, rear reclining loungers with telescopic safety rails, and an integrated V-shaped tri hull.

Additional comfort options include cockpit air-conditioning and heat, hot water systems, and flushable toilet systems with holding tanks.

According to Campion, one feature that differentiates the Fibretoon from aluminum pontoons is its composite construction, which is said to better resist dents and galvanic corrosion as well as make it suitable for saltwater and freshwater.

With horsepower ranging from 90 to 350, the Fibretoon will be ideal for water sports such as tubing, skiing, wake and knee boarding as well as fishing or lounging.

Kelowna's Mayor, Walter Gray says, “I'm a very proud Mayor to be able to boast that the Biltmore is built in Kelowna, by Campion Marine. An innovative Water Craft manufacturing company which designs and produces quality products in the finest marine and recreational region in Canada; Kelowna, BC. The Campion brand of quality is a perfect fit for our great community.”
