More than 1,550 exhibitors from 55 countries will be in Düsseldorf, Germany this weekend for the 41st annual boot Düsseldorf. Among the largest boat shows in the world, boot Düsseldorf runs from January 23 to 31 inclusive. The show will fill all 17 halls of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, covering a total area of more than 2.2 million square feet of exhibition space. Nearly half of the exhibitors are attending from abroad, with exhibits ranging from kayaks to ocean-going yachts. Around 1,700 boats and yachts will be on display.
“In comparison with the national and international competition in the trade fair scene, the decline we have seen is relatively modest, especially considering the fact that we have managed to maintain the high quality standards that boot has set itself,” says Werner Matthias Dornscheidt, chairman and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf. “Since the end of last year business has picked up again significantly, a good indicator for a renewed confidence and a sign that the industry counts on boot Düsseldorf's ability to invigorate the market, especially in these difficult economic waters.”
There is strong demand for floor space amongst exhibitors of boating equipment, onboard electronic systems, engines, accessories and watersports wear. In Halls 10-12 some 350 exhibitors will present a selection of varied boating products.
