Audio and video electronics manufacturer ASA Electronics has been selected by the American Boatbuilders Association (ABA) as a ‘supplier of choice' in its audio and video categories, and has entered into a three-year agreement to supply the ABA with marine specific products.
"ASA Electronics' unique core competencies and their ability to deliver the level of products expected by our members was a key point in their selection as a supplier of choice,' said ABA President, Jay Patton.
"We are honored the ABA members chose ASA as a supplier of choice,' added Fred Sherrerd, ASA Marine Industry Manager. "We look forward to providing them with the innovation, products and support that boat builders of their caliber expect.'
ABA is a wholesale buying group representing more than a dozen independent boat builders in the United States, including Chaparral, Cobalt, Ebbtide, Formula, Godfrey, Grady-White, Monterey, Nautique, Pursuit, Regal, Rinker, Stingray and Tiara. Collectively, ABA boat builders represent annual boat sales over US $1 billion, and material purchases of approximately US $600 million.
ASA has been specifically designing, engineering and testing marine electronic products for more than 30 years. The company's product line includes Jensen stereos, speakers, LCD televisions and DVD players.
