Boating Ontario has announced that Roch Lambert, Group President for Rec Boat Holdings will be the keynote speaker at the 2011 Boating Ontario Conference. The conference is scheduled to run from December 4 to 6 at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, ON.
Lambert is expected to share his insights on rebuilding a brand, corporate restructuring initiatives and operational turnarounds.
Currently, Lambert serves as President of the recreational boat division, which includes the Four Winns, Glastron, and Wellcraft brands. He has been one of the key strategists in the revitalization of the brands after they were acquired out of bankruptcy in early 2010, along with the fishing boat brands, Ranger, Stratos, and Champion.
Previously, Lambert was with Quebec-based Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) holding numerous management positions from 1994 to 2009. His most recent position with the organization was Vice-President and General Manager of the Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo and Evinrude division of BRP US. He also had served as Vice President and General Manager of BRP’s Evinrude and Johnson outboard engines division, rebuilding the brands from the OMC bankruptcy of 2000.
Lambert will address Conference delegates on Tuesday December 6.
