Boating Ontario Seeking CEO Following Al Donaldson Retirement Announcement


Following Boating Ontario's announcement of the retirement of its Executive Director, Al Donaldson, at the end of 2015, the association has posted an opening for a new President and CEO.

A not-for-profit company located in Penetanguishene, Ontario in the Southern Georgian Bay area, the new position will report to a volunteer Board of Directors.

As the association's President, the chosen candidate will be responsible for all operations of the organization, including strategic planning, marketing, finance, fundraising, government relations, environmental initiatives and human resources.

Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience, be willing to travel and enjoy leading a small team of professionals.

Boating Ontario provides benefits. Salary will depend upon the applicant's qualifications.

Donaldson first joined Canada's largest recreational boating association back in 1999.
