Brunswick Announces 'Open Access' Dealer Advantage Promotion

Brunswick Corporation has announced a special 'Open Access' promotion that will make the company's Dealer Advantage program available to all of its marine dealers selling both Brunswick brand boats and Mercury Marine engines until  June 30.

Brunswick Dealer Advantage offers 16 leading business services to its marine dealerships to help them drive growth and profitability. Previously, the gold and platinum-level programs were only open to dealers with a large share of sales in Brunswick marine products. Through the Open Access promotion, these services are open to all Brunswick marine dealers regardless of volume.

“Dealer Advantage is an important way for us to help our outstanding dealers succeed so we are pleased to be able to offer everyone our premium-level programs,” said Brunswick Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dustan E. McCoy. “The broad menu of business services help dealers attract more retail customers, retain valued employees, enhance operations and reduce expenses. In fact, Dealer Advantage preferred rates have already saved our marine dealers more than $7 million. Open Access will broaden the impact.”

The gold and platinum programs now open to all boat and engine dealers include Arthur J. Gallagher marine business insurance, Synergy Benefits Consulting retirement planning services, Synergy Benefits Consulting succession and financial planning,  discounts for the dealership and its employees on Brunswick Billiards tables and accessories and even savings on General Motors cars, trucks and SUVs.

Open Access also offers deeper platinum-level discounts to everyone on these silver-level programs: ChannelBlade website marketing services, online boat listings and leads, and Spader business management 20 Groups. Further, as Open Access makes these service levels available to all dealers, current gold and platinum dealer may see expanded services and more discounts, made possible by broader and increased participation levels.

“We are committed to offering our marine dealers the best business support in the industry,” said Brunswick Boat Group President, Andy Graves. “Dealer Advantage makes a difference. Already, close to two-thirds of our marine dealers participate in the program. By opening access to platinum-level business services, we can help all Brunswick dealers with important tools to build long-term profitability and growth.”

“Brunswick Dealer Advantage offers all our marine dealers a collection of business services that are unmatched in the industry,” adds Mercury Marine President Mark Schwabero. “Supporting our dealers has always been a fundamental principle at Brunswick. Their success is our success. Open Access helps all our dealers move ahead in 2010.”

“I can think of no better way to celebrate the start of our fourth year in operation than by reaching out to every Brunswick dealer with Open Access,” said Brunswick Dealer Advantage specialist Kirsten Schuchardt. “It's very rewarding to be able to truly impact our dealer's bottom line with our added-value services. Open Access allows all our dealers to broaden their participation.”

There is no cost to the dealer to participate in Brunswick Dealer Advantage and they can choose the number of programs that fits their unique business needs. Dealers can learn more about Brunswick Dealer Advantage by calling 1-877-462-3884 or visiting
