Brunswick Corporation's Commercial and Government Products (BCGP) has introduced a new 37-foot Boston Whaler model called the Justice – the largest Boston Whaler model ever built.
Designed specifically for military and law enforcement use, the 370 Justice's center console design allows unobstructed 360 degree visibility while its deep-V hull is designed to yield a smooth ride in rough seas. Reverse chines serve to deflect spray for drier rides while also providing quicker recovery between waves and additional lateral stability. Like all BCGP Boston Whaler models, the 370 Justice features fortified laminate schedules for commercial and military applications. The standard integrated windshield and hardtop is designed to withstand harsh conditions while affording superior visibility and weather protection for the crew. The face of the console can accommodate dual 14-inch screens and additional electronics necessary for surveillance and other special operations. Options including crash rails, gun mounts and tow posts, are available to allow agencies to customize the boat for specific missions.
In a triple outboard configuration, the 370 Justice has the horsepower and fuel capacity (1,703L / 450 US gal.) for extensive coastline patrol activities, according to Jeremy Davis, BCGP Sales Manager. There is no word as yet on whether the new hull will be sold as a consumer product.
Brunswick will have the 370 Justice available for in-water demonstrations at the Multi-Agency Craft Conference, held in Norfolk, VA from May 11 to 13.
