Buckeye Marine Charity Event Raises $14,000 for Local Hospital

Ross Memorial Hospital's (RMH) Mammography and Breast Assessment Clinic in Lindsay, ON will receive more than $14,000 as a result of Buckeye Marine's Product Preview and Charity Event held in early October.

The Bobcaygeon, Ontario dealer raised $6,800 at the event through live and silent auction and then more than matched that amount to reach the $14,000 total.

“We recognize that the hospital is not only a resource for the local community but it also houses the areas walk-in clinic and nearest emergency medical facility for many of our seasonal residence and Buckeye clients,” stated Buckeye Marine's Marketing Coordinator Carly Poole. “The RMH foundation is working very diligently to improve the hospital and have come a long way towards its goal of making Ross Memorial one of the top hospitals in the province.”

Buckeye Marine is grateful for the support shown by the industry and local businesses. “We are glad to be able to enjoy this event with our customers, local vendors, marine industry professionals and Buckeye Marine employees,” continued Poole. “We thank everyone who attended and contributed items and sponsorship because without you the event would not have been such a huge success.”
