Campion Marine, Kelowna, BC, will hold its annual dealer conference August 29 to 30 at the Delta Grand Hotel in Kelowna.
The event offers dealers the opportunity to test Campion's boats firsthand on Lake Okanagan. Last year more than 100 people attended and Campion expects this year's attendance to be the same.
“We'll be showing some changes we've made to existing boats to make them more user-friendly ergonomically,” reveals Peter Wingfield, Designer for Campion. “We've made some changes to the back ends of our 645 Allante and 650 Chase series.”
Besides model enhancements, the conference will focus on the manufacturer's push towards being recognized as an environmental builder. “We've been working with more eco-friendly products and we'll be showing our dealers other concepts we've been working on for future models. We'll be getting their feedback to find out what they're looking for in the future. I think it's great to gather the dealers together. It's excellent for generating new ideas and it helps us to show dealers – who perhaps haven't been here before – what our quality is like and what our family attitude is towards boating.”
The conference also provides Campion's dealers with price incentives for ordering early for next season. “Our focus at these events is to get dealers out trying out the product,” describes Wingfield. “We encourage them to come with orders because there are incentives at the show.”
