Canadian Angler Joins Crestliner National Pro Team

Shane Turcotte an angler from Goulais River, ON, who has been fishing for more than 30 years, is the newest member of the Crestliner National Pro Team.

“I am very excited about this new partnership and my being able to represent Crestliner at the highest level is a great accomplishment,” said Turcotte.  “I look forward to sharing all my experiences, tips and techniques with all current and future Crestliner boat owners.  Partnering with Crestliner will give me the support to do what I am extremely passionate about – getting out on the water and building awareness of the great pastime of fishing.”

For the 2012 tournament season, Little Falls, MN-based Crestliner has provided Turcotte a recently redesigned 1850 Raptor. Turcotte's nine-tournament schedule for 2012 includes stops on the MWC, AIM and NOWT circuits.  He will also represent Team Canada at the AIM event, Canada vs. US professional Walleye Tournament.

“I am very excited to have Shane join our team of professionals,” said Lori Kneeland, Marketing Manager for Crestliner.  “He is a true fishing advocate and will bring excellent exposure to Crestliner.”

Turcotte splits his time on the water between tournament fishing on the Northern Ontario Walleye Trail, Cabela's Masters Walleye Circuit and teaching tips and techniques for multiple species fishing. Turcotte also serves as Vice President of the Northern Ontario Walleye Trail, and is involved in many other organizations and clubs, including the National Professional Anglers Association.
