Canwest Trade Shows is introducing its 2010 – 2011 Best Booth Awards in an effort to encourage its exhibitors to enhance their booth spaces.
“We're trying to bring our shows to the next level,” says Joe Papa, Canwest Trade Shows' General Manager. “We're trying to increase our exhibitors presence and improve the shows for attendees by creating more beautiful interactive booth space.”
The tradeshow producers organize several events including the Victoria Boat and Fishing Show. Canwest's independent judges will score exhibitor's booths based on several categories including design and visual impact, quality of exhibit, client identification, product presentation and booth personnel.
After scores have been determined, winners will be announced in three categories based on exhibitor booth space sizes – 100 to 300 sq. ft., 400 to 1,000 sq. ft. and 1,000 sq. ft. and up.
Winners receive a trophy as well as a free booth space at an upcoming Canwest show, which carries a value of up to $1,000. Canwest says it will notify winners on the Sunday of all of its shows. “We'll announce the winners earlier in the day so they can display their trophies in their booth spaces,” says Papa.
