CMC Electronics Marks 20 Years with Raymarine at November Open Houses

Esterline CMC Electronics is inviting its existing as well as new dealers to a pair of open houses come November. The company will hold two events, the first at its Burnaby, BC office (2999 Underhill Ave.) from November 5 to 6 and the second at its Mississauga, Ontario office (3600B Laird Rd. Unit 12) from November 12 to 13.

"This year, CMC Electronics marks its 20th anniversary of its partnership with Raymarine in Canada,' says Glenn Butt, CMC Electronics Sales and Marketing Manager. "Our open house events will provide the opportunity for all dealers to visit our facility and to see the latest Raymarine products as well as to see the other products that CMC supports in Canada.'

"We at Raymarine are very proud of our 20 year relationship with CMC said Larry Rencken, VP of Sales. In many ways, CMC is Raymarine in Canada. They provide sales, marketing and service support for the entire country.  The senior leadership team has a very good understanding of the market and they have the best sales organization coast to coast. Our " go to market' strategy in Canada is very much a partnership process with CMC. We look forward to many more years of growth together.

Informal product presentations, with the aid of CMC's vendor representatives, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at each open house. CMC will provide food and drink while reviewing the latest products from our vendors.

Last year, CMC held two off-site road show preview events.  Butt suggests that the move to an open house format at CMC's regional locations could be a new direction for the company's future events.

"After the slow start we all experienced this past year, the season rebounded nicely in July and August, and we are looking forward to excellent attendance at our two events' Butt stated.

A couple of CMC's vendor partners were recently recognized with marine electronic product awards at the National Marine Electronics Association's annual conference in Fort Myers, Florida this October, including Raymarine and KVH Industries.

Butt says open house attendees will have the opportunity to see those award-winning products as well as other new product set to make their consumer debut at the Toronto International Boat Show in January.
