Crestliner announced the addition of 16 new dealers to its dealer network, including two located in Canada.
The Canadian dealers who have taken on the brand include Badiuk Equipment in Fort Frances, ON and George’s Marine and Sports with locations in Eganville and Ottawa, ON.
“We thought that it was a perfect match for us because we’ve always been a quality product line motivated dealership,” says Jeff Wilcox, President of George's Marine and Sports. “We handle Tracker as well, which is a very good line but we were looking for an additional product line to elevate us up into that higher echelon category, which Crestliner represents. We’ve also been a Brunswick dealer since 1974. We carry Bayliner and Mercury outboards, so we’re quite familiar with Brunswick. We know how they operate and our service people work with them all the time, so this is a pretty easy fit for us.”
George’s Marine and Sports will be carrying Crestliner’s entire lineup. Wilcox says so far the 1600 and 1650 Fish Hawk series models have been the best sellers at the dealership.
The other new Canadian dealer, Badiuk Equipment, also acquired the Crestliner brand after a recent merger with another local dealership, Pinewood Sports and Marine in Fort Frances, ON. “Pinewood was a Crestliner and Lund dealer,” explains Jim Badiuk, Owner of Badiuk Equipment.
The new lines join the other marine brands Badiuk Equipment carried prior to the merger, including Alumacraft boats and Suzuki outboards. “The addition of these brands has increased our business and made our summer a lot busier,” adds Badiuk.
