CSBC Seeks Nominations for CASBAs Until November 7

With the Canadian Safe Boating Council's (CSBC) Canadian Safe Boating Awards (CASBAs) gala is set to take place in Toronto on January 11, 2015, the association is seeking nominations for its various award categories.

The annual awards ceremony and dinner takes place every January to recognize the efforts of the general public, volunteers, professionals, agencies and organizations that have distinguished themselves in the fields of boating safety and environmental stewardship.

CSBC is asking marine industry members to consider if the company they work for has recently developed a product that in some way enhances boating safety – making it a potential candidate for nomination.

The CASBA awards span a number of categories, including:
• Rescue of the Year
• Marine Professional of the Year
• Top Volunteer Dedicated to Safe Boating
• Best Boating Safety Initiative
• Safeguarding the Environment
• Marine Industry
• Visible PFD Wear in Advertising
• Best Media Contribution to Boating Safety
To submit nominations, click on the "Events' tab at www.csbc.ca. Registrations to attend the CASBAs can also be made through the CSBC website.

Nominations close November 7, 2014.
