Sara Anghel, Executive Director, NMMA Canada, invites all members of the recreational boating business to attend the organization's annual general meeting at the Toronto International Boat Show. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 10, starting at 10:00 am sharp in the Presentation Theatre, located next to the Hall B Entrance in the Galleria Lobby.
The keynote speaker for this year's AGM is Norm Miller, MPP for Parry Sound-Muskoka. With a provincial election coming to Ontario on Thursday, October 6, 2011, this is your best opportunity to learn more about key issues facing the recreational boating industry in Canada's most populous province, and ask specific questions about important issues like the HST and economic growth.
Further, Sara Anghel will provide an informative update on government relations activities on behalf of the Canadian marine industry, while NMMA President, Thom Dammrich, will provide an update on the marine industry south of the border, with his insights on how the welfare of the US boating industry can be expected to impact Canadian dealers, distributors and manufacturers in 2011.
So mark the date and set the reminder alarm in your smartphone – Monday January 10 at 10:00 am in the Presentation Theatre, and be informed so you can make the most of this selling season.
