Fusion-Link Control Available on Humminbird Ion and Onix Series

Fusion's Fusion-Link entertainment protocol will soon be supported by Humminbird's ION and ONIX series. Come June, users will be able to control audio capabilities and functions of the Fusion 700 and 205 Series Marine Entertainment System directly from ION and ONIX multifunction displays.

"We are very pleased to partner with Humminbird to bring Fusion-Link integration to their truly advanced ION and ONIX systems,' said Chris Baird, CEO, Fusion Electronics. "Now, Humminbird owners can enjoy the convenience of our award-winning marine entertainment at their fingertips.'

Fusion-Link allows boaters to navigate all stereo sources from their Multifunction Display (MFD) and provides full control of iPod/iPhone/MTP music libraries via track, artist, album or playlist with the same control as its 700 or 205 Series. Boaters can control the individual audio zones of a vessel separately or together. Bass, midrange, treble and subwoofer levels are also adjustable.
“We are pleased the Humminbird Cross Touch interface on the newly released ONIX and ION products will deliver full audio control to our customers,' said Dale Logue, Marketing Director, Humminbird. "Allowing full integration of this product is a complement to our powerful, innovative marine systems.'

Compatible Fusion stereos include the MS-RA205, MS-IP700, MS-IP700i, MS-AV700 and MS-AV700i.
