This past weekend, Buckeye Marine held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of its new 5,000 square-foot showroom dealership in central Ontario's Muskoka Lakes region. Approximately 80 people were present for the opening of Muskoka Boat Gallery, located on Lake Rosseau's Wallace Bay in Minett, ON.
Muskoka Boat Gallery will be dedicated to selling the MasterCraft boat brand as well as pre-owned boats.
Muskoka Lakes Mayor, Alice Murphy, participated in the official ribbon cutting. Instead of the typical ribbon, a wakeboard rope with handle was cut to represent the style of boats offered at the new location. "This area is becoming a delightful enclave of business,' says Murphy. "The lakes here are part of our highway system. The more variety in the types of businesses we have here the better it is for all of us.'
Highlighting the significance of the event, MasterCraft unveiled its X-Star tow boat at the new dealership, the first of that particular model to be offered in Canada.
The new dealership sits adjacent to SWS Marine, which operates a ski and wakeboard school as well as offers boat service and storage, personal watercraft rentals, boat tours and water sports shows.
