Technical wear manufacturer Helly Hansen Canada has changed its name to Climate Technical Gear.
"After 30 years of business, we recognized how much we have grown over the years and have chosen a new brand name that represents how far we have come as a manufacturer and distributor,' explains President Dan Clarke. "We are excited about stepping out from behind our manufacturing doors with a new name and identity that tells our company story.'
Established in 1982, Climate Technical Gear is a leading manufacturer of engineered work wear and flotation products. The company is the Canadian licensee of the Helly Hansen Workwear product line, and manufacturer and distributer of Nautilus by Protexion, and Buoy o Boy.
"This is an exciting evolution for our team,' says Clarke. We are a locally owned and operated company that serves industrial clients all over Canada. It all starts here in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and we now have a company name that captures who we are and why we get out of bed in the morning.'
