Intellian to Build New Facility in South Korea

Irvine, CA-based Intellian Technologies has begun construction on a 71,000 square-foot R&D, manufacturing and shipping facility located outside of Seoul, South Korea.

The facility, called The Intellian Center for Innovative Technologies, will feature a 30,000 square foot R&D centre equipped with extensive window access for antenna development as well as six labs and a Quality Control Antenna Aging Facility. According to Intellian, it expects the new facility to substantially increase its production and shipping capabilities while accommodating growing product demand.

“Worldwide demand for our marine antenna solutions has grown substantially over the last year,” said Eric Sung, president and CEO of Intellian Technologies. “Our new facility is necessary for us to address the current and future demand.”

The Intellian Center for Innovative Technologies is expected to be complete in February 2010.
