Jim Bell, of Bellville, Ontario, has joined North South Nautical Group Inc. (NSNG), allowing the Port Credit, Ontario-based company to expand its Yacht Brokerage services to the Quinte region of Eastern Ontario.
Bell is a lifelong boater having cruised Lake Ontario, the 1000 Islands, Rideau and Trent Canal systems, and Georgian Bay extensively. As a volunteer, he continues to be a major contributor to his local Canadian Power and Sail Squadron (Bay Of Quinte Squadron) as Past Commander and presently, Administration Officer. He has instructed the CPS Boating course for more than 13 years and has served on the Quinte District of CPS as Public Relations Officer.
In addition his significant boating experience, Bell has an extensive background as an award winning Real Estate Broker for more than 30 years. Bell has also operated as an independent yacht broker in the area, and more recently, acts as Harbourmaster for the City of Bellville, responsible for all issues regarding waterfront facilities including two Small Craft Harbours, Victoria Park and Meyers' Pier, which accommodate about 300 seasonal and transient boats.
