Two of the maritime industry's most senior executives will deliver keynote addresses at the opening plenary session of the 2015 World Maritime Technology Conference (WMTC) on Wednesday, November 3 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
Keynote speakers Chow Yew Yuen, Chief Executive Officer of Keppel Offshore and Marine, and Cameron K. Mackey, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Scorpio Tankers Inc., will address innovation, technical challenges facing the maritime industry and what's ahead.
SNAME's (the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers) annual meeting and expo, the SNAME Maritime Convention (SMC), is held in conjunction with the triennial WMTC.
The plenary session will set the stage for a week-long (November 3 to 7) program of technical sessions, panel discussions, topical luncheons and networking opportunities.
Prior to the keynote addresses, WMTC 2015 will officially open with a welcome to attendees by Joe Comer, President of SNAME, Kirill Rozhdestvensky, Chairman of the World Maritime Technology Congress and Todd Grove, WMTC 2015 Chair.
