Correct Craft, the Orlando, FL-based manufacturer of Nautique boats received a visit from Han Duk-soo, the South Korean Ambassador to the United States.
Duk-soo made the trip to learn more about Correct Craft's business dealings with Korea and discuss ways the country and Correct Craft could expand their relationship made possible by the US/Korea Free Trade Agreement. South Korea and Canada are currently involved in free trade agreement negotiations.
“Our entire team was truly honoured by Ambassador Han's visit to our facility in Orlando and his kind words about both our boats and our operations,” said Correct Craft's President and CEO Bill Yeargin. “Earlier this month I had the opportunity to visit Seoul, Korea and was truly impressed by their country and their love for water sports. We look forward to working closely with the Koreans to improve our already excellent relationship.”
In early March, Yeargin spent two weeks traveling through seven countries in Asia, visiting leaders in the recreational marine industry.
“Our new strategic plan has a strong international focus, including Korea,” added Yeargin. “There are many exciting things happening in the emerging markets and Nautique has a wonderful international base upon which to build. We currently operate in 41 countries.”
Presently, Correct Craft has one dealer in South Korea.
