Irwin L. Jacobs, Chairman of J&D Acquisitions, the parent company of Larson Boats, has announced the appointment of Mike O’Connell as its Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer.
O’Connell will have a wide range of responsibilities including operations, sales and marketing functions. O’Connell will report directly to Al Kuebelbeck, President and CEO of Larson, and will have direct involvement with all four brands manufactured in Larson’s Little Falls facility – Larson, Seaswirl, Triumph and FinCraft.
O’Connell brings more than 27 years of experience in the marine industry, most recently as VP of Planning and Business Development of Rec Boat Holdings. Prior to that, he spent 10 years in various management positions within the Genmar group of boat companies.
