Producers of the upcoming 33rd annual London Boat, Fishing and Outdoor Show are pleased to report that they've sold all of the event's allotted exhibit space. The show opens its doors at the new Metroland Media Agriplex and Arena in London, Ontario from February 19 to 21.
"London has never been so large. We're sold out for the first time, which is excellent,' says Dwayne McKillop, President of Continuum Productions, producer of the show. "We're very excited about the growth of this show.'
McKillop anticipates the London show will feature approximately 175 exhibitors on its 170,000 square-foot floor space. "We have more boats than ever before, more fishing displays, more outdoor brands, more power products, more hunting and fishing lodges, more professional fishing experts and more family activities than ever before,' he explains. "The growth right now is on the dealer side. A lot of the fishing boat exhibitors are really coming ‘hard and heavy' this year.
Thousands of boating, fishing and outdoor brands from local area dealers will be on display.
Visitors with questions about boating regulations, fishing and hunting guidelines, need to obtain their PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operator's Card) or need information on marine border crossing should stop by The Great Outdoors Resource Centre. Here they'll find experts from the RCMP Shiprider program, OPP and Ministry of Natural Resources.
For anglers, the Let's Go Fishing Seminar Series presented by Angling Sports will feature some of the province's top anglers. Pros will share their tips and techniques in a series of free seminars. After that, you can test your skills over at the Angling Sports Casting Lane.
Returning to the show for 2016, Canada's Power and Outdoor Zone – because boaters often share other outdoor interests – features PWCs, ATVs, trucks, snowmobiles and motorcycles.
Visitors will also find an array of fishing and hunting lodge exhibitors as well as destination marinas to help plan their summer getaways prior to the season.
Tickets will be $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, youth $12 and kids under 13 enter for free.
