Lowrance, Tulsa, Oklahoma, has also secured an extended exclusive partnership with Skeeter Performance Fishing Boats. The three-year contract will last through to the 2017 model year.
"At Skeeter we have built a reputation for listening to our dealer network and the performance requirements of end users,' said Jeff Stone, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Skeeter Boats. "Back by popular demand, we are pleased to once again be able to offer Lowrance products on our boats.'
"Skeeter's pursuit of perfection is evident in the way they engineer their high quality bass boats,' said Leif Ottosson, CEO and president, Lowrance. "The Lowrance HDS Gen2 Touch and Elite-3x model fishfinder and navigation systems complement their philosophy by offering unmatched clarity and functionality.'
Lowrance's partnership with Skeeter will include the availability of HDS Gen2 Touch navigation systems as well as Elite-3x fishfinders on Skeeter high-performance bass, multi-species and saltwater fishing boats. The HDS Gen2 Touch fishfinder/chartplotter combination display will be offered standard on all Skeeter FX, ZX and TZX model boats and as an optional on multi-species and saltwater class fishing boats.
Each system offers a broad selection of cartography.
Earlier in September, the navigation electronics manufacturer announced an extension with another boat builder, Fishing Holdings.
