Marine Dealer Conference and Expo Exhibit Hall Nearly 80% Sold

The Marine Dealer Conference and Expo (MDCE) is quickly selling out of exhibit space. Scheduled from Novemer 14 to 17 at the Orange County Convention Center and Rosen Plaza hotel in Orlando, FL, more than 78 percent of the 106,000-square-foot hall has been sold, with the remaining space expected to fill up well before the event kicks off.

“We nearly doubled the size of the expo hall this year, when compared to last year's event, but the event is growing so quickly we're still anticipating a sell out,” said Matt Gruhn, publisher of Boating Industry, which co-produces the event with the Marine Retailers Association of America (MRAA). “We knew, coming out of last year's event, that interest from new exhibitors was already high; however, it's still exciting to see the number of additional companies that are eager to support the dealers through this event.”

The exhibit hall will be open Monday through Wednesday of the four-day event (MDCE kicks off Sunday night with a networking reception). In addition to its new larger size, it will feature expanded and more-efficient expo hours.

“Last year, expo hall hours were scheduled in between educational sessions, which we found didn't give attendees enough quality time to explore the latest business solutions the exhibitors have to offer,” said Gruhn. “This year, we've specifically blocked off chunks of time designated as expo hall hours. So there are more hours than last year, and they're more efficient hours, as well. This schedule also allows exhibitor staff members down time to either sit in on the educational sessions or to get other work done.”

The exhibit hall will also host a cocktail reception on Tuesday, Nov. 16.
