The Mid-Canada Marine and Powersports Dealers Association (MMPDA) is inviting regional dealers to attend its 2014 Annual General Meeting, Conference and Dinner on November 26, 2014.
According to the association, although trade shows are often viewed as the main benefit of membership, MMPDA says this is not the case. In 2012 the association launched a new member education program, which offers education options for owners, managers and staff. The MMPDA is also involved in working with various levels of government on issues that impact our industry such as water and land access.
"Belonging to an organization that supports you and your company provides opportunities for peer to peer engagement,' says Ian Cummer, President of the MMPDA. "Our AGM and member dinner is just one of those opportunities.'
The MMPDA was formed in 1986 by a group of like-minded individuals who saw the need for an organization that would focus on issues that impact the industry.
Changes to the marine environment saw many dealers expand their product lines to include powersports products, which led the MMPDA to expand its membership in 2009 and welcome all marine and powersports members into our Association.
