Organizers of the upcoming Central Ontario Boat Show and Sale (COBSS) say this year's event will take up more space and feature more boat brands than last year. The show will run from February 15 to 18 at the Careport Expo Centre in Hamilton, Ontario.
This year, COBSS will feature 130 boats on display, up 23 percent from last year.
"The size of the show has grown 20 percent from last year,' says Tara Hanson-Rix, Media Relations for COBSS. "Our show will feature over three acres of boats and marine accessories as well as an increase in the number of boat brands on display. New for this year, Fish TV will be here with a fully stocked trout pond, where families can perfect their fishing skills. We'll also have the in-door pond where the The Confederation Marine Modellers will be operating its miniature remote-controlled boats, which families can enjoy.'
Free seminars at this year's show include using navigation systems, muskie fishing, boat buying tips and powerboat handling. Anglers will also have the opportunity to learn tips of the trade with Leo Stakos and Ron James, stars of the Fish TV television series. The show will also feature fishing simulators, where visitors can test out their fishing skills through an interactive game.
