The National Marine Representatives Association (NMRA) has elected its 2013/2014 officers and board members. One new officer and four new board members are joining the association's leadership group.
Ken Smaga of ComMar Sales LLC, Land O' Lakes, Florida, has been elected to President and Brandon Flack of Atlantic Marketing Co., Stonington, Connecticut, is now Vice President.
Rob Gueterman of GSW and Associates, Tampa, Florida, now serves as NMRA's new Treasurer. Dave Borgaard of Silverlake West, Las Vegas, Nevada, joins NMRA's board as Secretary. Kathy Munzinger of Munzinger and Co., Springfield, Missouri, is now Past President.
All four new board members, Keith LaMarr of Macaroni Marketing, Syracuse, Utah; Clayton Smith of Waters and David, Dallas, Texas; Craig Coatney of Coatney Sales, Fremont, Indiana; and Ivan Cross of Merilfield Co., Camano Island, Washington; will serve three year terms. They join two existing board members: Randy Dykstra of Great Lakes Marine Marketing, Port Clinton, Ohio and Neal Trombley of Gulf Atlantic Marketing, Fort Myers, Florida.
NMRA, founded in 1960, is a national organization serving independent marine sales representatives and the manufacturers who sell through reps. The association functions as an industry voice, promoting networking and the benefits of utilizing reps for sales.
