Nautic Global Group Names New Chairman and CEO

Nautic Global Group (NGG), Elkhart, Indiana, has appointed James R. Malone as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer. Malone, a former CEO of several Fortune 500 companies, has served as a consultant to Nautic Global Group since earlier this year. He succeeds Nautic Global Group CEO Michael A. Kitson, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities.

"I am excited to join Nautic Global Group and to work with the talented leadership team to pursue the objective of becoming the leading producer of high-quality boats globally,' said Malone. "On behalf of Nautic Global Group, I want to thank Michael for his contributions over the past few years as he steered the company into a period of growth. There is a passion, desire and requisite skills within these facilities to improve the products, the processes, and everything that goes into building them. Marketing, selling and servicing them through the best dealer network in the industry is a huge advantage and great asset we have. I'm confident that NGG is on the brink of producing not only improved results, but making significant strides to become an even better boat manufacturer.'

Malone is the Senior Managing Partner of Qorval, which specializes in providing C-level leadership, experience and expertise to improve operational results at companies across industries and sectors. He brings extensive leadership experience to Nautic Global Group, having served as CEO of five Fortune 500 companies and as a member of three boards of directors. He currently serves on the boards of Regions Financial Corporation and Ametek, Inc.

The Nautic Global Group family of products includes Hurricane deck boats, Rinker express cruisers and Captiva sport boats, Godfrey pontoon boats (Sanpan, Aqua Patio and Sweetwater), Polar Kraft aluminum fishing boats and Parti Kraft pontoon boats.
