Nautique, Orlando, FL, has formed a three-year agreement with Wakestock, Canada’s largest wakeboard festival and WWA (World Wakeboard Association) World Series event. The agreement stipulates that Nautique will be the exclusive towboat of Wakestock as well as the presenting sponsor of the Wakestock WWA World Series and the title sponsor of the Wakestock Amateur Wakeboard and Wakeskate Championship.
Nautique models will also be on display at Wakestock, including the Super Air Nautique 230, Super Air Nautique 210 and the Sport Nautique 200, courtesy of Ontario-based dealer, Pride Marine Group. “We’re happy to be involved,” says Jeff Barnes, Pride Marine Group’s Director of Marketing. “Hopefully it’s something that continues to extend our reach throughout the marketplace and continues to develop a younger presence in our brand.”
Nautique President and CEO, Bill Yeargin, is also pleased with the new agreement. “We are thrilled to have been invited to be the exclusive towboat of Wakestock, the world’s largest wakeboard festival,” he states. “We know the riders will have a great experience behind our boats. We also look forward to working with the Pride Marine Group team.”
Previous to the new agreement, Malibu Boats were used for Wakestock events.
Wakestock is scheduled for August 5 to 7 inclusive in Collingwood, ON.
