CEOs from Navico, FLIR/Raymarine, and KVH Industries will discuss the future of the marine electronics industry at the 2014 National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) Conference and Expo. Panel members include Martin Kits van Heyningen, CEO of KVH Industries; Andrew Teich, CEO of FLIR/Raymarine; and Leif Ottosson, CEO of Navico.
The panel, to be held on Thursday, October 9, 3:30 to 5:15 pm (EST), will be moderated by Jim Fullilove, Editor of the Marine Electronics Journal. The conference and expo runs from October 8 to 11 at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa in Fort Myers, Florida.
Among the questions they will address are: What are the major factors driving industry sales, and what might be expected in coming years? What trends are affecting consumer behavior? What new products might we expect in the near future? What are the short- and long-term prospects for the marine electronics industry? What can the marine industry do to solve the problem of an aging population of boaters and keen competition for potential new boaters' leisure time and dollars?
