NMMA released its April report on outboard engine wholesale shipments and retail sales control group of manufacturers. According to the report, US outboard engine wholesale shipments were up 11.5 percent from a year ago.
Corresponding dollars were up 22.2 percent. For the 12 months through April, unit volumes were up 5.8 percent year-over-year (YOY) while corresponding dollars were up 10.9 percent. Total retail sales based on warranty card registrations were up 9.6 percent (R12M, YOY), up slightly from the previous month.
