Old Mill Marina Takes On Key West Brand

Old Mill Marina, Dorset, Ontario, has become the newest dealership for Key West Boats, a line of fibreglass centre consoles, dual consoles and walkarounds.

"From the inception of our sales centre in Dorset, Ontario we knew that having a great line of centre console boats would be key to our success,' explains Jeff Barnes, Director of Sales and Marketing for Old Mill Marina. "We took a significant amount of time to research and decide on the right brand for our customers.  While the need for a high quality, reputable and stable manufacturer was a must, two distinct advantages made Key West the right choice for Old Mill.  What distinguished Key West from the crowd was that their primary focus is the 14 to 24-foot market – that is exactly the segment that we service.  Secondly, their new unique Family Sportsman (FS) Series is a market leader.'

"This season more than ever, our customers have been asking for this style of boat.' says Rob Walisser, Owner/President of Old Mill Marina.  "A focus on safety and utility is a growing cottage trend. Key West's ability to build high quality self-bailing, level floatation boats through their line-up is a rarity. We believe they will be a hit on our lakes.'

Key West Boats is wholly owned by Hutch Holseberg and has been manufactured in South Carolina since 1986.

Old Mill already carries the Tigé, Princecraft and Rinker boat brands. The dealership also provides service and warranty for Mercury, Mercruiser, Indmar and PCM engines. Old Mill Marina has two full-service waterfront locations – one in Dorset, Ontario on Lake of Bays and the original location on Kawagama Lake in Haliburton. Combined, the two locations represent over 30 acres of land, 1,500 feet of waterfront and 150 wet slips.

Old Mill Marina plans to exhibit the Key West brand alongside Desmasdon's Boatworks at the 2014 Toronto Boat Show in January in booth #155.
