The Ontario Marine Operator's Association (OMOA) has announced that its 2011 Boating Ontario Conference and Trade Show will be held at the Hilton Suites in Markham, ON, from December 5 to 7 inclusive.
Presenting a Connecting the Boating Community theme, this year's conference kicks off Sunday evening with a focus on networking. A range of workshops and training sessions begin on Monday December 6, including one on the FISH Philosophy – a set of simple, practical tools to help create a desirable work culture. Speaker Terry Pringle will also be on hand, presenting a communication and relationship-building seminar designed to provide marine business operators with the insight and tools needed to align with different generations, including an understanding of shifts in thinking, logic and attitudes.
Workshops continue the following day, along with the conference's on-site trade show.
“The Boating Ontario Conference provides a forum for the discussion of industry concerns and opportunities,” says the OMOA's Jackie Crawford Wink. “This event is where industry leaders from around the Province gather to discuss current issues and exchange ideas.”
The Hilton Suites Conference Centre is located northeast of Toronto at 8500 Warden Avenue, in Markham, ON. Registration information and complete conference details should be available shortly on the OMOA Conference website.
