Organizers of the Port Credit In-Water Boat Show report that docks reserved for exhibiting boats are 75 percent sold. The show, celebrating its 20th year, is scheduled from August 27 to 29 at Port Credit Harbour Marina in Mississauga, ON.
“We've got a few special surprises planned for our 20th anniversary,” reports Show Manager, Lori Mason. “Last year we sold out of docks and we plan to do the same this year, and enlarge our land display features.”
The show will once again feature new and used boats including both power and sail. Land-based exhibitors will include marine equipment, insurance and finance businesses as well as charters, sailing schools, boating associations and canvas makers.
Show visitors can sit in on seminars on living the cruising lifestyle as well as cruising the Inter-Coastal Waterway and the Caribbean.
The event will once again feature a consignment tent, where The Store, Mason's Chandlery employees sell used boating product on behalf of customers. A portion of each sale made is donated to local youth sailing programs.
