First launched in 1990, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the Port Credit In-Water Boat Show. This year, the event will run from September 18 to 20 at Port Credit Harbour Marina in Mississauga, Ontario.
"We are pleased to be celebrating our 25th year at the Port Credit Harbour Marina. Last year's show sold out of docks and we had more of both power and sailboats, new and used inventory! ' stated Katrina Lewis, Show Manager.
Organizers are working to ensure this year's event delivers strong leads and boat sales as well as enjoyable activities and special events for consumers.
Among the highlights, show goers will be able to board over 100 new and used power and sailboats, in addition to the numerous land displays featuring the latest marine accessories and services.
Over at the speaker's tent seasoned boaters will discuss marine topics such as boat handling and destination cruising. This year's show will also feature the presence of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron's award-winning training simulator where consumers can test their boat handling skill without leaving the dock.
The event will also include live music for your entertainment Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons by the beer tent.
Visitors have their choice of arriving by car, transit or boat (reserve early).
Show hours are Friday September 18 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.); Saturday September 19 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.); and Sunday September 20 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
