Pride Marine Group has opened a chandlery at its Innisfil, ON location.
According to David Lloyd, Location Manager, the new chandlery is approximately 1,500 square feet and stocks a variety of marine accessories that caters to boaters headed for larger waters.
"The Innisfil store is located on Highway 400, which provides boaters headed up the cottage the perfect opportunity to pick up boating items that they may need or had forgotten,' explains Jeff Barnes, Pride Marine Group's Director of Marketing.
According to Lloyd, Pride Marine Group wanted to better serve boaters headed to the bigger waters of Georgian Bay. "Where we're situated, we are the gateway to Georgian Bay and the Muskokas,' says Lloyd. "We're already well represented in the Muskokas, and want to better establish ourselves on Georgian Bay. Georgian Bay attracts a larger number of overnight cruisers. So instead of carrying mostly weekend supplies like we do at some of our other locations, we carry dinghies, GPS/chartplotters, VHF radios, fish finders, ropes, fenders, and other items for cruisers.'
Pride Marine Group's 17,000 square-foot Innisfil store opened in September of last year. It's the dealership's sixth location and is dedicated to selling the Chaparral and Robalo boat brands.
