Princecraft Boats, Princeville, Quebec, has named Steve Langlais its new President as of May 2. Princecraft's former president, Donald Dubois, was recently appointed the new European Boat Group President for Brunswick Corporation, and has been operating out of Belgium since January of this year.
Langlais joins the Canadian boat builder from Soucy International, where he spent four years in various leadership roles. In his most recent role, he served as the Vice President of Operations and Product Development for Soucy's International Track Division. Prior to that position, he was responsible for Soucy's Sales and Marketing.
Langlais first joined Soucy from Bombardier where he spent 16 years in various engineering and procurement roles within the company's recreational products divisions.
He has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Laval University and a Master's in Business Administration from Sherbrooke University.
Since 1954, Princecraft Boats has specialized in the construction of aluminum fishing, pontoon and deck boats.
