Regal Opens Factory Showroom – New Tool for Dealers

Regal Marine has announced that it will be holding a grand opening event for its new 15,000 square foot Regal Factory Showroom at its headquarters in Central Florida, adjacent to the Orlando International Airport, March 20.

“We think it's a wonderful opportunity for our Canadian dealers to help sell in the wintertime,” said Mark Kellum, Regal Marine's Marketing Manager. “Canadian clients may be planning to come to Florida on business or vacation; so Canadian dealers can let them know that they can come see our lineup. It's a nice way for their customers to spend half a day while they're here.”

The purpose of the factory showroom is to provide Regal's dealers with a place to better serve their potential customers. If the dealer doesn't have a particular model in their own showroom, they can send them to Regal's factory showroom, which will contain the manufacturer's entire lineup, including the three new models it released for 2010.

“We are embracing this new concept because it's very difficult to get floorplan financing right now,” said Kellum. “We are not selling out of the showroom, it's not factory direct. This is simply a dealer asset. If a customer wants to see a 44-foot sports coupe, and the dealer doesn't have one in their showroom, the customer can purchase a fairly inexpensive plane ticket and come down to our showroom. Also, if a dealer wants to send someone to see us, we have people here that can show them around.”

According to Kellum, Regal is sending all of its dealers across North America invitations for their customers or potential customers to attend the grand opening.

The Regal Factory Showroom is open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
