The National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) has announced it will offer marine electronics training in Halifax on Wednesday, May 11.
The Basic Marine Electronics Installer course will be offered at the Courtyard by Marriott Halifax, located downtown on Salter Street from 8 am to 5 pm. This introductory course in marine electronics installation clarifies and defines competent installation practices. Topics include: ground systems, electrical systems, equipment installation and data communications. An MEI certificate is an indication of a working knowledge of NMEA's Installation Standard. A Marine Electronics Installer has demonstrated this proficiency by passing an examination designed to measure understanding of those principles.
Those interested in attending should have a minimum of one year's experience installing marine electronics systems. Cost to NMEA members is $395, and $595 for non-members. Click here to register now.
