Scarab jet boats are being featured as a grand prizes on "The Price is Right' game show, which airs daily on CBS.
The second longest running game show in history, the show producers were looking for a flashy product to include in the final showcase showdown segments. "We are always looking for effective ways to gain exposure for our boat brands and "The Price is Right' opportunity was an easy decision,' stated Roch Lambert, President. "Purchasing television spot advertising is typically cost prohibitive. With this promotional partnership, the exposure and impressions value we have received with the show is far more reaching than spot buys.'
The first airing October 25, which featured the Scarab 165, received more than 20 seconds of air time plus an additional 12 to 15 seconds with host, Drew Carey.
Future shows are scheduled for November 20 and December 9.
The Scarab jet boat line up ranges in size from 16 to 21 feet, and is powered by the BRP's Rotax jet propulsion system. The company plans to expand the line to larger models for the upcoming boat show season in January 2015.
