Scepter Canada Expands Distribution Network in Americas

Scepter Canada, a major supplier of plastic fuel tanks, Jerry cans, fuel fittings and accessories, has significantly enhanced its international distribution network. The Scarborough, Ontario-based business has five new distributor partners serving customers in the United States, Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

Effective immediately, Florida-based Haimes Coleman Group will represent the full line of Scepter Marine fuel tanks and accessories in the southeastern United States, serving customers in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee.

New Jersey-based Thomas H. Connolly and Sons will represent the Scepter Marine product line in the north-eastern US, serving clients in West Virginia, Virginia, Vermont, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware and Rhode Island.

In the US Midwest, Scepter Marine products will be represented by Ohio-based SGL Sales and Marketing, serving customers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota.

Nevada-based Pac-West Marketing will represent the Scepter Marine product line, serving customers in the western United States, including California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

Working out of Miami, Florida, Duramax International will represent the Scepter brand to customers in South America, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Scepter Canada Inc. manufactures and distributes a comprehensive line of marine products, including EPA/CARB approved fuel tanks, fuel lines, fuel accessories, Jerry cans and Flo n' Go fuel management systems.

Scepter Canada was founded by Evald Torokvei in 1949. The company played a significant role in the widespread adoption of plastic Jerry cans in the late 1950s as well as assisted the marine industry in converting to plastic outboard fuel tanks in the 1980s. Today, as part of the Myers Industries group of companies, manufacturers including BRP, Honda, Mercury, Suzuki, Tohatsu and Yamaha use marine fuel tanks manufactured by Scepter. The company's aftermarket fuel products are sold worldwide through an extensive global distribution network.
