Simrad Yachting Launches New Consumer Website

Tulsa, OK-based Simrad Yachting has launched a new website at www.simrad-yachting.com.

The new site offers prospective customers an easy way to obtain product details, and provides existing customers with instant access to support information and software updates. It is designed to allow boat owners to quickly identify electronics needs for their boats, based on activity. The site also offers detailed product information and guides to key features, as well as an interactive tool to suggest systems. Boat owners choose the size and type of their boat and the site suggests an ideal electronics suite. Visitors can also compare products, using a new feature that distinguishes capabilities between product lines and models.

Providing quick access to specific information, the site's search-engine function locates content with the click of a button. Users can also easily share information with popular social media networks; one-click options publish features on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.

"We are pleased to launch the new Simrad Yachting website, and we invite the boating community to experience the enhanced design and functionality that make it easier to learn more about Simrad Yachting electronics,' said Louis Chemi, Chief Operating Officer, Navico Americas. "We have packed simrad-yachting.com full of useful, simple-to-navigate content to provide information to visitors doing pre-purchase research and to help owners of existing equipment learn how to make the most of their electronics and expand their on-the-water capabilities.'

The new website is region specific, allowing users to choose their location and receive pricing for their own countries, as well as tailored information including upcoming Simrad Yachting events and boat shows in their region. Visitors can also take advantage of a new Dealer Locator and map function to easily find local retailers carrying Simrad Yachting products, as well as Certified Simrad Dealers who install and provide product service under the new Simrad Advantage Service Program.
