Submit Your CASBA Nominations Before November 4

The Canadian Safe Boating Council (CSBC) wants industry members to submit their Canadian Safe Boating Awards (CASBA) nominations before November 4. CASBA winners will receive their awards in Toronto, ON on Sunday, January 15 at the Toronto Sheraton Centre as part of a gala event.

CSBC holds the awards ceremony each year to honour a special person, group or organization whose efforts in the field of boating safety and environmental stewardship deserve national recognition.

CSBC is searching for those who created new boating safety related products or initiatives, or are volunteers or professionals whose efforts have contributed greatly to the safety of those on the water. The CSBC also annually recognizes someone who mounted an on-water rescue.

Individuals and organizations are also allowed to nominate themselves.

CASBA award categories for this year include:
Rescue of the Year
Marine Professional of the Year
Top Volunteer Dedicated to Safe Boating
Best Boating Safety Initiative
