Protective products manufacturer, The Safariland Group, Jacksonville, Florida, has acquired lifesaving equipment designer, Mustang Survival, Burnaby, BC. The deal includes Mustang Survival's related entities, including Mustang Survival Inc. and Mustang Survival Mfg., Inc.
The Safariland Group is a global provider of law enforcement and security products for the public safety, military and outdoor/personal protection markets.

The Safariland Group, acquired by an affiliate of Kanders and Company, Inc. in July 2012, is globally expanding its current brands while pursuing acquisitions aligned with its ‘Together, We Save Lives' mission. Mustang Survival represents the Company's first acquisition in the marine and aviation industries.
