BRP, Sturtevant, Wisconsin, says its Evinrude E-TEC G2 engines will now be available on TideWater Boats.

"This really is a natural fit for BRP. The offshore enthusiasts demand performance, efficiency and reliability, all pillars of the Evinrude E-TEC technology,' said Alain Villemure, Vice-President and General Manager of BRP's Marine Propulsion Systems division. "We're confident this agreement with TideWater Boats is strategic as it complements BRP's existing group of boat builders.'

The boatbuilder's Lexington, South Carolina facility recently expanded by 40,000 square feet to accommodate its growing business.

"The new Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboard is a very cool engine and it is extremely quick,' said Jimmy Metts, Owner of TideWater Boats. "It's exciting to see a new outboard on the market. Reliability is what's important to me, and that's what you get with this new motor. Not to mention the impressive fuel mileage I've seen from the Evinrude E-TEC G2 engine. We're excited to see what opportunities arise from our relationship.'

BRP's newest engine, the Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboard features a new design, clean rigging and improved fuel efficiency.
