Tigé Boats Incorporates Touch Screen Technology into 2010 Models

Tigé Boats, Abilene, TX, has announced that its new touch-screen control system is one of several new features incorporated on select 2010 models. The TigéTouch system will be used in the company's inboard watersport models in its Tigé RZ and Vé series.

Displayed on a 6.5-inch full colour touch screen, TigéTouch allows users to integrate the control of all operating systems, select watersports performance settings and monitor engine functions. One feature in the system is the creation of up to 20 athlete custom profiles, registering riding speed, ballast settings and TAPS2 position. Additionally, TigéTouch features a set of raised control buttons to the right of the display, allowing the driver to adjust speed control, audio and other functions with out losing sight of the water. Three Medallion digital/analog gauges are also included.

Other features set to appear on Tigé Boat's RZ and Vé series boats include a contemporary dash design and the option of an advanced modular ballast system that provides up to 2,000 pounds of factory ballast and offers unlimited weight distribution configurations controlled from the TigéTouch display.

Tigé has implemented several upgrades in the interiors of the RZ, Vé and Z1 models as well, including snap-in removable carpet throughout and a fully integrated fibreglass floor system. The interior styling will offer dielectric pleating for easy care and enhanced durability. Tigé's RZ models will offer fully fibreglassed recessed interior side panels that incorporate a stainless grab handle, drink holders, courtesy lights and a 12-volt outlet.
