The 2009 Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show (MAATS), scheduled July 15 to 17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, has been enhanced this year to further offer business opportunities for dealers, exhibitors and buyers.
“We recognize the economic climate presents numerous challenges to our industry, notably travel budgets. So, we've created a worthwhile, valuable event that allows attendees to walk away with real, tangible benefits,” said Ben Wold, executive vice-president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA).
A new element this year is the Green Product Zone, devised to help accessory manufacturers showcase their eco-friendly products and will feature prominent displays to draw attention to the green aftermarket products and accessories.
Three seminars are also scheduled:
• Improving Dealer Margins Through Online Education
Wednesday, July 15 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Hosted by long-time West Marine Buyer Richard Mundell
• Using eLearning to Improve Your Sales and Margins,
