US Powerboat Shipments up 1.5 Percent in November

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) reports that through November 2015, wholesale shipments of traditional powerboats were up 1.5 percent.

The data was collect from NMMA's control group of manufacturers, which represents 68 percent of the market in North America.

According to the association, growth was experienced in the fibreglass outboard boat and inboard boat segments, which offset declines in other categories.

Corresponding dollars were up 8.7 percent.

Comparatively, personal watercraft shipments were up 15.3 percent YOY through November.
